This is a hand-crafted anthropomorphic clay pipe, originating from East Africa. These types of pipes are more than just functional smoking tools; they are frequently considered prestige items or ceremonial objects.

The most striking feature is the bowl, which is sculpted into a highly stylized human face. The facial features are characteristic of African mask traditions

The clay has a dark smoked finish, giving it a deep charcoal black color with a slight earthy sheen. The pipe has a long, slender stem that tapers toward the mouthpiece. This length helps cool the smoke before it reaches the user.
